The Murder of Roger Ackroyd

In the provincial English town of King's Abbot, where the famous private detective Hercule Poirot has retired to enjoy a quiet life growing marrows, a murder takes place. Several individuals are suspected, each with both the means and motive to commit the crime. The "retired" Poirot, as always, brilliantly unravels the case.
